Get your codes back
Just removed Twincode, or setting it up again on a new computer? Here’s how to bring your codes back.
Your phone still has your codes. Removing Twincode deletes its copy from that computer, including its locked codes and settings. Nothing on your phone changes.
Getting your codes back
- Add Twincode to Chrome. Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store
- If you had sync turned on, use a browser signed in to the same account. If your browser’s sync still holds Twincode’s locked copy, Twincode finds it and asks for your recovery code. Then you choose a password for this computer.
- If you saved a backup file, open Twincode’s import page, choose Backup files and pick your twincode-backup file. Type the password you had when you saved it.
- If you had neither, copy your codes from your phone again. The guides show you how, and it only takes a few minutes.
Just removed Twincode?
Sorry to see you go. One quick question: what made you remove it? Pick an answer and your email app opens with it filled in. Nothing is sent unless you send it.
